My first boat, a pirouge named The Betty Lou, was built in 2008, Pittsburgh, PA. The Betty Lou is made with plywood, stitch and glue construction, 16’ long. The boat can be rowed, paddled, sailed, or powered by a small electric motor which makes fishing easier. I found a great DIY aluminum trailer, very lightweight, making the craft easy to transport.

In 2017 I joined the East End Classic Boat Society in Amagansett, NY where we build and restore wooden boats. I’ve included some photos - follow the links.
